The annual 4th of July Parade always brings the community together, lining Main Street to watch the floats and bands go by!

London is home to the Madison County Fair!
The fair is set to begin the second Sataurday in July and is THE place where area 4-H and FFA members show their completed projects and compete for prizes. Livestock projects are displayed and auctioned and community businesses showcase their wares and show their support fot the youth of Madison County. From the Grandstand to the midway, entertainment, rides and games are plentiful! The first Madison County Fair took place in 1953 and the event still remains a favorite family tradition!
During the remaining months, the fairgrounds is host to truck/tractor pulls, swap meets, auctions, livestock shows and more and several buildings are available for event rentals.

The London Rhythm & Rib Fest brings the party to downtown London!
The festival takes place on Main Street in downtown, from High Street to First Street and is packed full of activities! Along with delicious food and great music, the streets are lined with local artists selling and demonstrating their crafts. A car show is planned, featuring over 100 vintage automobiles and the 5K Rib Tickler Color Run/Walk and Rib Tickler Bicycle Ride are perfect for both the serious and casual athletes. Children’s activities take place throughout the festival, appealing to kids of all ages!
The two day festival always takes place on the first Friday and Saturday in August.

Organized by the Downtown London Association, the annual Olde Fashioned Christmas event always takes place in the heart of our downtown on the first Monday after Thanksgiving . Enjoy carriage rides up and down Main Street and take in the the lovely holiday sounds of the many community bands and choirs as they perform throughout the event. Many businesses and non-profit organizations hold open houses offering free refreshments and special holiday pricing. The streets come alive with holiday cheer and as this night has become an anticipated,family tradition!
The streets close at 5pm and the carriage rides begin at 6pm. See you there!
